The Marketing Logic team presented its geo-expertise and told about the analytics and application of big data in various business areas at the business forum in the field of technology and innovation Barcamp "National Technology Revolution 20.35" in St. Petersburg.
Every year, Barcamp gathers more than 2,000 participants on its site, and the program includes more than 100 events. In 2023, the forum focuses on the strategy of technological development of St. Petersburg in priority areas for the city: unmanned aircraft, artificial intelligence and big data, the automotive industry, biotech and technological policy of cities.
“The Barcamp Forum is an excellent opportunity for professionals to meet, talk about their work, share news about important projects, exchange opinions, present their expertise and, to some extent, participate in shaping industry trends. For example, it is not entirely clear to most companies that data collection is a challenge that technology companies have already accepted, to which they have responded with expertise in processing, protecting and analyzing it. Now we are all solving new problems: how to enrich data, how to use new features, i.e. different sets and combinations to maximize the potential of the information that exists in a particular project. In addition, we, in turn, of course, talk about the value of the geoanalytical approach, show implemented projects in various fields,” says Dmitry Galkin, CEO of Marketing Logic.
"At the forum, we presented the possibilities of using data, geo- and predictive analytics for the development of various projects, for example, we talked about the geo-service of QR codes for patients. This is a platform with an application and a built-in hydromodule, which, using the code issued by the doctor, finds the nearest pharmacies with the necessary drug and builds the shortest route to them. Thanks to the application, the patient can choose a pharmacy, immediately go to buy medicine, schedule a visit in the calendar or order it on the pharmacy's website, if it provides such an opportunity. A few years ago, such a service combining various databases, geo—tracking and mobile device capabilities would have been difficult and expensive to implement, but today it is a solution that already exists and helps both the patient and the pharmaceutical industry as a whole," Svetlana Kochubey, project manager for geoanalytics and data processing at Marketing Logic, tells about trends and technologies.
