The “My Business” Center St. Petersburg will provide participants of the “City Business Accelerator of St. Petersburg” project with full access to the GIS Atlas of the Russian analytical company Marketing Logic.
The St. Petersburg City Accelerator project is aimed at supporting small and medium-sized businesses by providing participants with the services and expertise necessary for development, as well as administrative support.
Now project participants have full access to the Atlas geographic information system with more than 5,000 data layers with geographic reference and accuracy to each house. GIS Atlas is included in the register of Russian software and helps companies open a business in the most favorable locations, develop and transform the network taking into account demand and the activity and density of the competitive environment. The system takes into account not only the traffic of the target audience, but the average expected cost of renting or purchasing premises, points of attraction for the audience, the level of well-being of residents, requests for certain types of services, public transport routes and hundreds of other parameters and characteristics from infrastructural to socio-demographic.
“Full access to the Atlas GIS platform will help participants choose the right business strategy, and the city will attract investment and develop services where residents need it most. In other words, such a digital approach using GIS data and functionality, as well as the expertise of mentors and accelerator experts, is an effective tool for managing areas of the urban environment in terms of providing the population with various services: household services, public catering, stores of various types and many others. As a result, growth points are formed for business, where it is important and in demand, where they will be successful for business, for the population, and for the state. This is the development of the city’s economy, the emergence of new jobs, and for residents also an increase in the quality of life and comfort of the urban environment,” - notes the role of the project, director of the “My Business” center in St. Petersburg Lev Kuznetsov.
“We are significantly expanding our cooperation with the St. Petersburg City Accelerator project; now participants have access to an almost unlimited set of tools from our geographic information system, which is used by representatives of large Russian businesses, TOP-10 banks, medical laboratories, retail networks. For small companies, and especially for startups, this is an excellent opportunity to get, with the support of the accelerator, access to geo-analytics that takes into account thousands of factors for the development of dozens of types of business areas,” — says Marketing Logic CEO Dmitry Galkin.
Geoanalytical support allows us to recommend locations for opening a business that are most in need of development of a particular service sector. Companies participating in the accelerator will come to those areas where there is already a demand for such facilities. This approach harmonizes the development of the city, improves the standard of living of citizens and promotes the development of entrepreneurship in various fields.
Applications for participation are available on the website. After the diagnostic stage, participants are offered individual acceleration programs with lectures and the formation of a business development strategy. In addition, accelerator participants are given access to digital platforms for business management, including Marketing Logic geoanalytical services.
